At Inspire Pelvic Health, my goal is to inspire women to take charge of their pelvic health. Through collaboration, education, and a labor of love, I hope to provide you with the tools you need to care for, heal and manage your symptoms for now and in the years to come.
Whether you have never been pregnant, are currently pregnant, or had your baby days to years ago, and have been dealing with embarrassing bladder symptoms, bowel symptoms, or pelvic pain without knowing where to turn, you have found the right place.
You may be experiencing urinary leakage, frequency, or urgency that is painful and hard to control; you may be uncomfortable with constipation, or fearful of social obligations because of the possibility of fecal or gas leakage occurring while you are out; you may have vaginal or pelvic pain that is limiting partner intimacy or the ability to have a speculum examination, making underwear and clothes impossible to wear, or is socially isolating because the pain is making it difficult to carry on with your normal activities or exercise routine. You are finally in the right place.
Have you been told that what your experiencing is just “normal” for your age/parity/activity level/etc.? Have you been told to just do kegels, “just have more sex” or “find a new partner” or that “there is nothing that can be done for this”, by friends, family, or even your health care practitioners? Have you been told that the pain you are having during pregnancy is “just because you are pregnant” and that you just have to have the baby in order for your pain to go away? I don’t like those solutions either, and you are finally in the right place!
I can tell you that none of these symptoms are normal, and I can offer help. I have worked for many years as a pelvic health physical therapist, and have successfully treated thousands of women with the above mentioned symptoms, getting them back to living a confident, functional and fulfilling life. I can help. Let’s talk, and get you back on the path to wellness.
